Duplicate/Decay,  2015-Present

These cyanotype photographs were created using the surplus materials that were discarded as art history image collections, media archives and libraries changed from analog to digital. Boxes of photographic transparencies and slide carousels, as well as other obsolete media of audio tapes, floppy drives and early computer wires are used to make these cameraless photos. These images show history as having elements of permanence and order as well as flux, decay and chaos. Many of these images are unique photograms, one of the earliest photographic duplication processes.
